Resident credential unlocks their assigned floor and common areas. Visitor pass unlocks only the floor they’re pre-registered to visit. Contractor pass unlocks only the floor and time window of the job.

Floor button activated

Inside the elevator, only authorized floor buttons illuminate for that credential. Unauthorized floors remain locked. No override. No workaround.

Time-based floor restrictions

Visitor floor locking

Pre-registered visitor passes unlock only the floor of their scheduled visit. A guest going to unit 1204 cannot ride to floor 18. The elevator enforces it automatically.

Contractor & service access

Contractors access only the floors required for their job, during their scheduled window. Maintenance staff reach utility floors. Nobody goes where they have no business being.

Multi-tenant floor separation

Mixed-use buildings separate residential, commercial, and retail floors completely. Tenants on floor 8 cannot access floor 12 — regardless of how long they hold the button.
